Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot jello
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 apple, chopped fine
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Method

  • Drain juice from pineapple.
  • Set pineapple aside.
  • Heat pineapple juice and water to make 1 cup, then dissolve jello with this mixture.
  • Set in refrigerator to thicken, but not set.
  • Add orange juice concentrate; stir well.
  • Add drained crushed pineapple, the chopped apple and chopped dates.
  • You may add 1 cup chopped nuts; they are optional.
  • Chill in refrigerator until firm.
  • Serves 6 to 8.
