Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot jello
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 apple, chopped fine
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Method
- Drain juice from pineapple.
- Set pineapple aside.
- Heat pineapple juice and water to make 1 cup, then dissolve jello with this mixture.
- Set in refrigerator to thicken, but not set.
- Add orange juice concentrate; stir well.
- Add drained crushed pineapple, the chopped apple and chopped dates.
- You may add 1 cup chopped nuts; they are optional.
- Chill in refrigerator until firm.
- Serves 6 to 8.
