Ingredients
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. applesauce
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
- 1 tsp. celery flakes
- 1 tsp. Dijon style mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1 lb. ground beef
Method
- Combine bread crumbs and applesauce.
- Add onion, celery flakes, mustard, salt, pepper, egg and the ground beef.
- Blend thoroughly.
- Shape into a round loaf in a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- With a spoon, make a depression in top of loaf.
