Ingredients
- 10 c. water
- 5 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Method
- Boil water, sugar and cornstarch 20 minutes; add cinnamon and lemon juice. Peel and slice apples; pack in sterile jars. Pour hot syrup over apples to 1 inch of top of jar.
- Seal and process in water bath for 20 minutes after it starts to boil.
