Ingredients
- 4 c. diced apples
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger sugar substitute (optional)
Method
- Add in all ingredients except sugar substitute to a microwaveable bowl.
- Mix well.
- Microwave on high for 4 min or possibly till tender.
- Stir.
- Microwave another 2 min.
- Add in the sugar substitute to taste, optional.
- Use as a topping for pancakes, crepes, waffles, French toast, English muffins or possibly even chicken.
- This recipe yields eight 1/2-c. servings.
- NOTES : Diabetics or possibly those on calorie-controlled diets may count one serving as: 1/2 fruit exchange.
