Ingredients
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of salt
- 1 (No. 2) can sliced pie apples or 6 medium tart fresh apples
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Blend 1/4
- cup sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, cinnamon and salt. Toss
- lightly with apples. Spoon into pastry lined pan or dish. Combine
- butter,
- brown
- sugar
- and
- 1/2
- cup flour. Sprinkle over pie filling.
- Cover with top crust and cut slits in top of crust. Bake at 425° for about 35 to 40 minutes.
