Ingredients
- 6 apples
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Line 9-inch pie pan with pastry dough.
- Fill with apples (if fresh apples, peel and quarter; simmer in 1/4 cup water until tender).
- Combine remaining ingredients, except butter.
- Sprinkle over apples; dot with butter.
