Ingredients
- 2 crusts
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 c. sliced tart apples
- 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, whole or chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- In large bowl, combine sugars, flour and cinnamon.
- Add fruit.
- Mix well.
- Turn into pastry-lined pan.
- Dot with butter.
- Cover and cut slits into top crust.
- Seal edges. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
