Ingredients

  • 2 quart Apple Cider, Reduced To
  • 2 c. Reduced Cider
  • 4 lb Mcintosh Apples Pared And Quartered
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 7 x Makes this many c.

Method

  • In a 4 qt saucepan bring cider to boiling.
  • Boil gently over medium heat about 20 min or possibly till cider is reduced to specified amount in recipe.
  • Add in quartered apples and sugar; toss gently to combine.
  • Gently simmer apples covered till apples are soft- about 20 min.
  • Stir once.
  • Serve hot with ham.
