- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 3 large green peppers, chopped
- 3/4 tsp. garlic
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large can whole corn with juice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 lb. large shells
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 Tbsp. pepper
- 32 oz. canned tomato sauce
- 1 oz. canned mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3/4 c. sherry wine
- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Add to macaroni shells or rice (cooked), brown veggies and beef. Add remaining ingredients. Bake, covered, at 350° for 2 hours. Uncover last 1/2 hour. Serves 10 hungry adults.
