Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1 (7 oz.) can minced clams (save juice)
  • 1 c. cubed potatoes
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • dash of pepper

Method

  • Cook bacon in pan until crisp.
  • Remove from pan and break into 1-inch pieces.
  • Brown onion in bacon fat.
  • Add clam juice and potatoes.
  • Cover and cook about 15 minutes until potatoes are done.
  • Blend in bacon pieces and minced clams the other ingredients.
  • Heat but do not boil.
  • Bacon may be used as garnish.
