Ingredients

  • 800g Hake fillets
  • 2 medium potatoes (peeled, boiled & mashed)
  • 2 eggs
  • Half bunch dhania (coriander) ( chopped fine)
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped mint
  • 2 Tablespoons crushed green chillies
  • 2 medium onions (chopped fine)
  • half tsp mix dried herb
  • half tsp jeera powder
  • half tsp dhania powder (coriander)
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • Salt
  • Bread crumbs

Method

  • 1. Remove skin from hake, boil for 30 minutes, cool and flake the fish.
  • 2. Add all ingredients except eggs & bread crumbs to the fish & mix all together.
  • 3. Beat eggs and add to the mixture, do not over mix as the mixture will become too soft to handle.
  • 4. Make into patties, dip in bread crumbs.
  • 5. Fry in medium oil until golden brown.
