Ingredients
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or lime Jell-O
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in small pieces
- 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 c. maraschino cherries (optional)
- 1 c. 7-Up
- few drops green food coloring (optional)
Method
- Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
- Add cream cheese.
- Beat with electric mixer at low speed until smooth.
- Stir in pineapple, sugar, vanilla, food coloring and nuts, if desired.
- Add 7-Up. Chill until set.
- Stir when partially set to keep nuts from coming to top.
