Ingredients
- grated large cabbage
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 green pepper, cut up fine
- 7 celery stalks, cut up fine
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 2 c. sugar (I use 1 c. sugar)
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
Method
- Grate cabbage and cover with salt. Let sit 2 hours. Add green pepper, celery, mustard seed, celery seed. Boil sugar, vinegar and water. Cool and pour over salad. Refrigerate for 2 to 6 weeks.
