Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 12 whole cloves
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 (2-inch) cinnamon sticks
- 1 1/2 qt. orange juice
- 1 qt. apple cider
- 2 c. grapefruit juice
- food coloring (if desired)
Method
- Combine sugar, cloves, water and cinnamon sticks.
- Simmer 10 minutes and strain.
- Add orange juice, apple cider and grapefruit juice.
- Add food coloring, if desired.
- Heat and serve hot.
- Yields 3 quarts or 25 (1/2 cup) servings.
