Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground moose
- 2 lb. ground pork
- 3 medium chopped fine onions
- 5 c. tiny cubed potatoes
- 2 c. beef stock
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. savory
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- pie crusts
Method
- Mix meat and spices; refrigerate overnight.
- Simmer meat with beef stock until all liquid has boiled away, 3 to 4 hours.
- After meat has cooled, fill pie crusts and bake.
- You can use beef for moose meat.
- You can add grated carrot and celery; top with mashed potatoes before baking.
