Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 4 eggs
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla or your favorite flavor
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt, then add to the butter mixture alternately with milk (a little flour, a little milk).
- Begin and end with flour.
- Mix well after adding each ingredient.
- Add flavoring and pour into a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
- Bake at 375° for about 50 minutes.
- Cool.
- Remove from pan; sprinkle confectioners sugar on top.
