Ingredients

  • 1 Zucchini
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise (light mayonnaise is also fine)
  • 2 cm plus Grated wasabi
  • 1 half a pack Bonito flakes
  • 1 Grated garlic
  • 1 Black pepper
  • 1 few drops Dashi soy sauce (or mentsuyu)

Method

  • Slice the zucchini into 1-2 mm rounds.
  • Mix the salt and set aside for 10 minutes.
  • Afterwards, rinse off the salt and squeeze the zucchini with your hands to drain excess water.
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  • Taste, and season with dashi soy sauce.
  • (It would be too strong if you added it from the beginning).
