Ingredients
- 1 red or green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. rice
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- sliced Velveeta cheese for topping (use desired amount)
- 32 oz. can tomatoes
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
Method
- Brown ground beef; drain and add all other ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Put in casserole dish.
- Top with desired amount of sliced Velveeta cheese.
- Put in oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted at 350°.
