Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
- 4 c. water
- 2 tsp. dried onion flakes
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- tamari or soy sauce to taste
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. molasses
Method
- Combine butter and flour in saucepan on medium heat.
- With wire whisk slowly add water.
- Bring to a boil until thickened.
- Add onion, garlic, tamari and molasses for color.
