Ingredients
- 18 wrapped caramels
- 18 pecan halves
- 1/2 c. pecan pieces
- 30 candy kisses
- 1 Tbsp. paraffin shavings
Method
- Unwrap caramels.
- Arrange 6 at a time in a circle on a buttered plate.
- Microwave on High 30 to 40 seconds until soft. Remove to cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil.
- Use 1 pecan half for head and 4 pieces for the legs.
- Press into caramels. Place kisses in a 4-cup glass bowl; microwave on Medium 5 minutes. Stir in paraffin until melted.
- Spoon over turtles, leaving tips showing.
- Store in airtight container.
- Makes 18.
