Ingredients
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 pkg. Kraft or Brach caramels
- 1 c. pecans
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. evaporated milk
Method
- Mix cake according to directions.
- Pour half into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake 15 minutes at 350°.
- While this is baking, melt caramels, margarine and milk, stirring constantly. Pour over baked portion.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over this, then pour remaining cake batter over.
- Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
- Moist; no icing needed!
