Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 loaves dry white bread
- 2 c. celery, chopped
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. or more whole leaf sage, crumbled
- 6 to 8 eggs, slightly beaten
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Put turkey in roasting pan and add 2 quarts of water. Add 1 stick melted butter on top of the turkey. Cover tightly and bake until tender at 200° overnight or 6 to 7 hours.
