Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 pt. half and half
- pinch of salt
- 2 prepared pound cakes (12 oz. each)
- 1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping
Method
- Cut cakes into 6 slices each.
- Combine milks and salt in a large bowl and stir well; set aside.
- Lay cake slices in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Pour milk mixture evenly over cake slices; cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
- Remove from refrigerator and spread thawed whipped topping over cake.
- Chill for additional 1 to 2 hours.
- Garnish with fresh fruit or your favorite pie filling.
- Serves 12 to 15.
