Ingredients
- Sicilian Pizza Dough
- 1 lb. Port du Salut or Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh oregano or 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 1/2 tsp. fresh thyme or 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh basil or 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- fresh herbs for garnish
Method
- About 40 minutes before serving, prepare Sicilian Pizza Dough. Preheat oven to 425°.
- Bake pizza crust 15 minutes or until lightly browned on top. Remove from oven. Top crust with sliced cheese and then herbs.
- Return pizza to oven and bake until cheese just melts.
- Garnish with fresh herbs.
- Makes 6 servings.
