Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter or oleo
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Heat oven to 450°.
  • Mix all ingredients, except butter and Parmesan cheese, until stiff dough forms.
  • Turn dough onto surface, well dusted with baking mix; gently roll in mix to coat. Shape into ball; knead 10 times.
  • Roll out 1/2-inch thick.
  • Cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter, dipped in baking mix.
  • Place on greased cookie sheet.
  • Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 1 dozen biscuits.
