- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1/2 cup ORE-IDA Chopped Onions
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1-1/4 cups milk
- 2 tsp. WYLERS Instant Bouillon Chicken Flavored Granules
- 1/8 tsp. dill weed
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (broccoli, corn, red peppers)
- 1 can (12 oz.) white tuna in water, drained, coarsely flaked
- 1 tsp. lemon juice Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 4 cups (1/2 of 32-oz. pkg.) ORE-IDA TATER TOTS
Method
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat.
- Add celery and onions; cook 3 to 5 min.
- or until celery is crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
- Blend in flour.
- Gradually stir in milk; cook 2 min.
- or until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Add bouillon, dill weed and pepper; mix well.
- Bring to boil, stirring constantly; simmer on medium-low heat 3 min., stirring frequently.
- Add frozen vegetables, tuna and lemon juice; mix well.
- Spoon into 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray; top with TATER TOTS.
- Bake 25 to 30 min.
- or until pie is heated through and TATER TOTS are golden brown.
