- 1 (20 oz.) pkg. peanut butter cookie dough
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 medium Granny Smith apples (firm)
- 1 c. lemon-lime soda
- cinnamon
- 1/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
- 1/2 c. chopped peanuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Remove 1/2 cup cookie dough for later use.
- Mix flour with remaining cookie dough.
- Put on pan, making 14-inch round.
- Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Let cool 10 minutes.
- Loosen from pan; let cool completely.
- Blend the cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread on cooled cookie dough.
- Peel and slice apples thin.
- Dip apples in lemon-lime soda and put on top of cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Heat caramel topping; spread on top.
- Sprinkle nuts on top of topping.
- Very delicious!
