Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) pkg. peanut butter cookie dough
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples (firm)
  • 1 c. lemon-lime soda
  • cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/2 c. chopped peanuts

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Remove 1/2 cup cookie dough for later use.
  • Mix flour with remaining cookie dough.
  • Put on pan, making 14-inch round.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
  • Let cool 10 minutes.
  • Loosen from pan; let cool completely.
  • Blend the cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  • Spread on cooled cookie dough.
  • Peel and slice apples thin.
  • Dip apples in lemon-lime soda and put on top of cream cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Heat caramel topping; spread on top.
  • Sprinkle nuts on top of topping.
  • Very delicious!
