Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 small head lettuce, shredded fine
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 8 oz. finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • sliced black or green olives
  • taco sauce
  • tortilla chips

Method

  • Thoroughly mix the cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread over a large round platter, plate or tray.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  • When ready to serve, top with the rest of the ingredients in the order given.
  • Garnish with olives.
  • Sprinkle a little taco sauce over all.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.
