Ingredients
- 1 1/2 turnips
- 1/2 c. carrots
- 1 lb. spareribs
- 2 Tbsp. shoyu sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. ginger, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 2 c. peanut oil
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 3/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. sugar
Method
- Cut turnips and carrots into very thin slices.
- Add 1/3 tablespoon salt and mix well.
- Let stand 30 minutes, then press excess liquid out.
- Add 1/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons vinegar and allow them to stand for 30 minutes.
