Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen French green beans
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Method

  • Cook beans according to package directions; drain.
  • Fry bacon; drain on paper towel.
  • Leaving about 3 tablespoons of grease in pan, saute onions until tender.
  • Add the dry mustard, vinegar and sugar, cooking until sugar dissolves.
  • Pour sauce over beans. Bake in a covered casserole dish for 30 minutes in a 350° preheated oven.
  • Makes 6 servings.
