Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup scalded milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoon yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 beaten eggs
- 4 cups flour
- Brown sugar
- cinnamon
- nuts
Method
- Pour milk over butter, salt and sugar, cool. Dissolve yeast in water, let stand 5 minutes. Add eggs and yeast to cooled milk. Gradually add flour, knead until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover and rise.
- Preheat oven to 350. Roll into a rectangle, spread with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Roll, cut and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
- If making the night before, refrigerate the sheet of rolls and take out 15 minutes before baking.
