Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup scalded milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • Brown sugar
  • cinnamon
  • nuts

Method

  • Pour milk over butter, salt and sugar, cool. Dissolve yeast in water, let stand 5 minutes. Add eggs and yeast to cooled milk. Gradually add flour, knead until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover and rise.
  • Preheat oven to 350. Roll into a rectangle, spread with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Roll, cut and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
  • If making the night before, refrigerate the sheet of rolls and take out 15 minutes before baking.
