Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1-1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ginger
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1-1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
  • Confectioners Sugar

Method

  • 1. Cream butter and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla, beat well.
  • 2. Mix together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger. Blend well.
  • 3. Combine the dry ingredients with the butter mixture.
  • 4. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
  • 5. Chill for one hour.
  • 6. Form into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
  • 7. Bake at 375°F on an ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes.
