Ingredients
- 1 medium red cabbage
- 2 to 3 apples
- small amount of water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper
Method
- Cut up cabbage and apples and cook 15 to 20 minutes in water until tender.
- Melt butter; add vinegar, sugar and seasonings. Heat 5 minutes.
- Pour water off cabbage and then pour the sauce on cabbage.
- Heat and serve.
