Ingredients

  • 2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 c. melted oleo
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1/2 c. sugar or 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 large box strawberry jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed

Method

  • Mix pretzels, melted oleo and 2 tablespoons sugar lightly; press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes.
  • Combine cream cheese, Cool Whip and 1/2 cup sugar or 1 cup powdered sugar. Spread on cooled crust. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate until set.
