Ingredients

  • 2 c. pretzels, crushed
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. oleo, melted
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries

Method

  • Combine pretzels, sugar and oleo.
  • Press mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 minutes, cool.
  • Mix cream cheese and sugar thoroughly; fold in Cool Whip.
  • Spread mixture onto cooled crust; let set 1/2 hour.
  • Dissolve jello in hot water, add strawberries and stir until well blended.
  • Pour over cheese layer. Chill until set.
