Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed pretzels
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. hot pineapple juice
  • 1 pt. slightly thawed strawberries
  • 2 c. whipped topping

Method

  • Mix melted margarine, 3 tablespoons sugar and pretzels together.
  • Put in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • Blend cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
  • Add whipped topping and mix well.
  • Spread over pretzel mixture.
  • Refrigerate.
  • Mix jello in pineapple juice until dissolved and add strawberries.
  • Spread over cream cheese and chill overnight.
