- 4 cups fresh strawberries, divided Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice Safeway 3 ct For $1.00 thru 02/09
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Fat Free Instant Pudding
- 1 cup thawed Cool Whip Light Whipped Topping
- 1 prepared angel food cake (284 g)
Method
- Reserve 5 strawberries.
- Mash remaining strawberries in large bowl; stir in lime juice.
- Add dry pudding mix; stir 2 min.
- Gently stir in Cool Whip.
- Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers.
- Stack cake layers on plate, filling and topping with Cool Whip mixture.
- Refrigerate 1 hour.
- Top with reserved berries before serving.
