- 1 Pkg. Dry Yeast
- 1/8 cup Warm Water
- 1 cup Scalded Milk
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Shortening
- 2 Eggs
- 2-3 cups Flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown Sugar
- 1/8 cup Margarine
- 1 Tbsp. Corn Syrup
- 1/8 Cup Water
Method
- 1. Soak yeast in warm water. Meanwhile, scald milk and add sugar,
- salt and shortening. Cool mixture until lukewarm. Add yeast and eggs to
- the milk mixture
- 2. Add 2 cups flour. Add more flour to make a soft dough. Knead
- mixture until smooth and elastic. Let rise 45 minutes.
- 3. Roll out dough into rectangular shape. Spread melted butter, brown
- sugar and cinnamon over the dough. Roll up dough and cut into 3/4 - 1 inch
- pieces.
- 4. Mix all topping ingredients and heat until sugar is well dissolved.
- Pour topping into two greased 8" cake pans. Place sticky buns onto the
- topping and let rise for one hour.
- 5. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
- Excellent sliced in half and grilled for breakfast.
