- 4 ounces uncooked vermicelli
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 12 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 34 lb boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut into thin bite-sized strips
- 1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges
- 2 medium zucchini, cut into 2 x 1/4 x 1/4-inch strips
- 1 small red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 (14 ounce) can baby corn, drained and rinsed
Method
- Cook vermicelli to desired doneness as directed on package.
- Drain; cover to keep warm.
- Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients; blend well.
- Set aside.
- Spray large nonstick skillet or wok with cooking spray.
- Heat over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add beef and onion; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink and onion is crisp-tender.
