Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. dark or light Karo syrup
  • 1 1/2 c. chunky style peanut butter
  • 6 c. Special K cereal
  • 3/4 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 3/4 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips

Method

  • Heat sugar and syrup just until sugar melts.
  • Add peanut butter and cereal.
  • Firmly pack into a 10 x 10-inch (or 9 x 13-inch for thinner) greased pan.
  • Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in a double boiler or on Medium power in the microwave.
  • Spread over Special "K" mix.
  • Cut after setting.
