- 1 lb. ground beef or 1 lb. bulk sausage (beef, milder; sausage, spicier)
- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. cottage cheese, drained
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Cook spaghetti according to directions on package.
- Drain (approximately 3 1/2 cups).
- Stir in margarine.
- Add eggs and Parmesan cheese.
- Press spaghetti mixture in buttered 10-inch pie plate, forming crust.
