Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups diced cantaloupe
  • 1 1/2 cups diced honeydew
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped purple onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • 2 serrano chiles, seeded and chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Method

  • Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Combine lime juice and remaining ingredients; stir well with a wire whisk. Pour over melon mixture, and toss gently. Cover and store in refrigerator. Serve with chicken or fish.
