Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 or 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 16 oz. can tomatoes or 1 lb. fresh, peeled and sieved
- 1 Tbsp. minced, fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried
- 1 tsp. sugar
- salt to taste
- 4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Method
- Heat oil in skillet; add garlic, then blend in other ingredients.
- Stir until blended.
- Lower heat and cook gently for 30 minutes, stirring every now and then.
- Put cooked spaghetti on a large platter; cover with sauce.
- Sprinkle with at least 4 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese.
