Ingredients

  • 5 ounces light soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 14 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 pinch garlic
  • 2 lbs beef tenderloin
  • mushroom (optional)

Method

  • Mix all ingredients (except tenderloin) together in small sauce pan and heat through.
  • Marinate tenderloin for a minimum of 4 hours, turning every hour or so.
  • You may also marinate over night in the refrigerator.
  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Bake tenderloin, basting every 15 minutes, for 45 minutes.
  • You may add mushrooms the last 15 min., if desired.
