Ingredients
- 1 3" serrano pepper
- 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 tbsp capers drained and rinsed
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp smoke paprika
- 1 tbsp kosher salt.
Method
- Remove stem and half of the seeds of the pepper and coarsely chop. Pulse with rest of the ingredients until chunky.
- Bring to a boil over the stove, reduce heat and simmer until thickened. Salt to taste and keep warm.
