Ingredients

  • For Indian Simple potato
  • 1.Potato big size 4
  • 2.Onion medium size 2
  • 3.Pepper 1 table spoon full
  • 4.Butter 2 table spoon full
  • For paratha
  • 1.Flour 250 gms.
  • 2.oil 1/2 table spoon
  • 3.salt 1/4 table spoon
  • 4.6 tablespoon full white oil to fry.

Method

  • Slice the potatoes in small sqare pieces and hard boil.Chop onion fine.Put butter in the fry pan and put onion after it becomes soft but not red add potato after 5 minutes put pepper and slight salt; fry for 10 minutes.Heat would be medium for the first 5 minutes and low for the rest.
  • For paratha:
  • Add table spoon of oil and salt to the flour and make a dough with hot water.Be careful it would neither be too soft nor too tight.Make equal 6 small pieces of the dough and give them a neat round shape.Give them big round shape like pan cake.Fry each for 2 minutes.One table spoon of oil for each paratha.Heat would be medium all through.
  • Have Paratha along with potato.Potato could be served with pan cakes or brown bread as well.
