Ingredients
- 500 grams potatoes boiled
- 80 grams butter
- 1 tablespoon flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 litres water
- 1 each bay leaves
- 1 piece lemon zest
- 1 each cloves, ground
- 1 each onions
- 1 x salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 dash caraway seeds
Method
- Melt the fat and add the finely chopped onion and flour.
- Saute until the onion is golden brown.
- Add the water and all the other seasonings.
- Cook for 1/2 hour.
- Strain the sauce and pour it over the hot, sliced potatoes.
