- 1 Lb Italian Sausage
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 cans tomatoes diced
- 1 can tomato puree
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp basil chopped
- 1 tsp fennel
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp parsley
Method
- Brown sausage in olive oil, add garlic anc saute. (15 mintues) set aside.
- add tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add sugar and baking powder.
- Add meatballs, seasonings and partially cooked sausage and simmer for 3 hours.
