Ingredients
- 16 c. chopped skinned tomatoes
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 1 to 3 jalapenos
- 5 Tbsp. canning salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 c. chopped green pepper
- 4 to 6 garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. cornstarch, mixed with 1/4 c. water
Method
- Bring the first 9 ingredients to a boil.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the salsa to thicken.
- Put into pint jars and process 15 minutes in a hot water bath.
- Hot, but good!
