Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. (half of 3 oz. pkg.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can shrimp, drained (4 1/2 oz. drained weight), chopped fine
- 1 to 2 tsp. lemon juice
- dash of garlic or onion salt
- dash of red hot sauce
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
Method
- Mix ingredients using enough mayonnaise to give good spreading consistency.
- Cut crust from day old thin bread spread with shrimp mixture.
- Roll tightly in a slightly dampened towel. Chill. Slice into approximately 1/4-inch slices.
- Yellow and/or red food coloring may be used to accentuate colors in these sandwiches.
